If you enjoy warehouse work and repetitive lifting, we have the job for you! The Advance Group is currently seeking a 1st shift Warehouse Associate for an elevator manufacturer located in Toledo, OH. The ideal candidate will possess previous General Labor experience and interest in learning how to operate a Forklift.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate:
Operate wire rope cutting machines which involves lifting 50lbs spools over 40 times throughout the shift, and occasionally lift 75lbs
Ship company product and record shipments in ERP system
Pick and stage products
Track inventory
Ensure equipment is properly maintained
Operate dolly and Forklift on ocassion to loading and unloading of supplies
Inspect products for damage or defects
Maintain a clean and organized work environment by performing housekeeping duties and cleaning
Other duties as needed to maintain a functional warehouse environment
Compensation for the Warehouse Associate:
$18-20/hr depending on experience
Hours for the Warehouse Associate:
Hours are Monday – Friday 7am-3:30pm
Some overtime as needed
Requirements of the Warehouse Associate:
2-3yrs of shipping and receiving experience
Ability to handle repetitive lifting of 50lbs and occasional lifting of 75lbs, team lift of 100lbs
Forklift experience preferred
Basic computer skills
Comfortable standing and bending throughout the entire shift
Ability to operate machinery safely and effectively
Works effectively both independently and as a team
Ability to work well in a small team environment
Must be able to pass a drug screen and extensive background check
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
