The Advance Group has partnered with a production facility in need of Material Handler in Maumee, OH for 1st shift.
Responsibilities for the Material Handler:
- The main duty will be loading and operating a transfer car to move corrugated material from one machine to another
- Band and stack pallets of paper weighing 50-60lbs
- Supplying the production line with the correct products
- Walking over conveyor rollers while pushing stacks of paper
- Assisting in Production doing Machine Operating
- Clean area as needed
Compensation for the Material Handler:
- Starting pay is $18.50/hr (including attendance incentive)
Hours for the Material Handler:
- The hours are Monday-Thursday 5am-3pm
- Overtime on Fridays as needed
Requirements for Material Handler candidates:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of prior material handling or general labor experience
- Prior Shipping/Receiving experience is preferred
- Machine Operating experience required
- Ability to stand for the entire shift and lift 50-60lbs repetitively
- Attention to detail and safety
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Must be willing to complete a drug screen and background check
- Good balance and comfortable handling a lot of bending and pushing stacks of paper
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record
