Job Description
Join our Tire Distribution team and roll into a rewarding career where hard work meets high impact! The Advance Group has partnered with a Tire Distribution Warehouse in Macedonia, OH who is seeking experience Warehouse Associates.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate:
Load/Unload semi-trucks with passenger tires weighing 60lbs and team-lift commercial tires weighing 150lbs
Roll, stack, lift, and position tires for staging
Operate sit down forklifts to store tires in the warehouse
Operate stand up order pickers at heights up to 11ft to collect tires for orders
Use pallet jacks to maneuver materials
Utilize computer software to generate shipping paperwork and categorize inventory
General housekeeping and other warehouse duties as assigned
Compensation for the Warehouse Associate:
$18/hr
Hours for the Warehouse Associate:
Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Every 3rd Saturday of the month working 6:30am-11:am
Occasional overtime
Requirements for Warehouse Associate:
Previous warehouse experience of at least 1yr preferred
Prior experience dong manual labor
Willingness to learn to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and order picker
Reliability and excellent attendance
Good computer skills
Ability to stand all day and bend while lifting
Team player
Comfortable being at heights around 11ft
Ability to maneuver with no range of motion limitations
Ability to lift, roll, and stack tires weighing 60lbs and do a team lift of 150lbs
High regard for safety
High School Diploma or GED
