The Advance Group has partnered with a unique manufacturing facility in Toledo, Ohio who is looking for mechanics to help disassemble old equipment to make room for new production lines. The ideal candidate with have mechanical experience with strong hand tool knowledge.
Job duties for Mechanic:
• Assist with dismantling machines and industrial equipment
• Help remove inactive production lines
• Support removal of electrical and gas lines (primary disconnects handled by senior maintenance staff)
• Perform general mechanical and maintenance support tasks
• Work safely and efficiently in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Additional job duties as needed
Requirements for Mechanic:
• Prior mechanical experience required
• Extensive hand tool and power tool experience
• Comfortable working in an industrial setting
• Ability to stand for most of the workday and perform repetitive bending, twisting, and kneeling
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Strong attendance and dependable work history
• Safety-conscious mindset
Shift for Mechanic:
• 1st shift - Monday- Thursday 5am-3:30pm
• Overtime on Fridays as needed
• Temporary assignment with potential for permanent hire based on performance and business needs
Pay for Mechanic:
• $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience and skill level
