The Advance Group has partnered with a manufacturing company in Perrysburg who is seeking a full-time Machine Operator/Machinist. This role is ideal for candidates with a machining or machine operation background who want to build skills and grow long term.
Job duties for Machine Operator:
• Operate manual lathes and other production machinery to manufacture diamond tooling products such as core drills and grinding wheels
• Perform piece-part production work based on daily production needs
• Load and unload machine tools as instructed
• Depending on skill level, may operate CNC machines, perform brazing, grinding, or other machining operations
• Learn and rotate through various department tasks as time and capability allow
• Accurately record work and job hours when required
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
Requirements for Machine Operator:
• Previous experience operating manual lathes or other production machinery preferred
• Strong attention to detail and conscientious work habits
• Good common sense and safety awareness
• Willingness and ability to learn multiple machines and tasks
• Ability to load and unload machine tools
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful but not required
Shift for Machine Operator:
• 1st shift, Monday–Friday
• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Overtime until 4:00 PM as needed
Pay for Machine Operator:
• $17–$19 per hour, based on experience
