What You’ll Do As A CNC Programmer:
Create and optimize CNC programs using G-code and CAM software
Program complex multi-axis Swiss-type lathes (Citizen, Star, Tsugami, Tornos)
Read and interpret blueprints, CAD files, and technical specs
Select tooling, speeds, feeds, and cutting sequences for top-quality parts
Set up Swiss CNC machines: tooling, workholding, offsets
Run dry tests to verify programs before full production
Operate Swiss lathes, ensuring consistent part quality throughout production
Requirements - What You Need To Be A Successful CNC Programmer:
2+ years Swiss CNC programming experience
4+ years Swiss CNC operating experience
Skilled in CAM and Parts Maker software
Proficient with manual lathes, mills, and CNC equipment
Strong blueprint and technical drawing reading skills
Sharp problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to stand long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and manage repetitive tasks
Flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed
