You will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, primarily operating a forklift and handling various shipping and warehouse duties.
Responsibilities of Shipping Clerk:
- Operate a forklift for approximately 90% of your work time
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely
- Palletize products according to specific instructions
- Perform various warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements for Shipping Clerk:
- Ability to consistently lift up to 50lbs
- Previous experience operating a forklift
- Prior material handling and/or shipping experience
- Preferred experience with overhead crane operation
Hours for Shipping Clerk:
- Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Saturday, 6:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed
Compensation for Shipping Clerk:
- Hourly pay rate: $15-16, based on experience
- Temporary-to-hire position
- Pay increase and benefits available upon permanent hire
