The Advance Group has partnered with a company in Romulus, MI that manufactures, recycles and markets abrasive media to end users in the metal finishing industry. This company has been in business for over 30 years and they are seeking an experienced Sales Representative, this is a Direct Hire opportunity!


Sales Representative responsibilities include:
Prepare and follow through with action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects
Develop and implement territory-level strategies and tactics to obtain new business, retain current business, and regain lost business
Manage customer accounts through fielding inquiries, needs and concerns.
Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability
Maintain accurate records of all pricing, sales, and activity reports
Provide timely feedback to management regarding sales activities


Requirements of qualified Sales Representative candidates:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales. Knowledge of abrasive media and applications for surface treatment and metal finishing recommended but not required.
Preference in having a Bachelor s degree in Marketing or Sales
Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills are required. Strong computer skills including MS Office and experience with customer enterprise software
Weekly travel required


Compensation for Sales Representatives:
Competitive compensation package based on education and experience. Annual compensation bonus based on achieving sales and profitability goals.
Benefit package to include: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Plan, Life Insurance and Long Term Disability (Employee to be eligible after completion of Probationary Period)
Eligible for two weeks vacation the first year; Three weeks after three years.
Eight paid Holidays and six personal/sick days per year
Eligible for 401K after first year. Company provides matching funds
