The Advance Group is hiring a Property Maintenance Technician in Southgate, MI. This full-time role supports multiple residential, commercial, and industrial properties, with occasional travel to Wixom and Bloomfield Township.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform general building and property maintenance, including cleaning and grounds upkeep
• Complete carpentry repairs and painting (walls, woodwork, metal surfaces)
• Handle basic electrical maintenance (light fixtures, ballasts, fuses, breaker resets)
• Perform plumbing repairs (leaks, valves, faucets, toilets)
• Conduct general repairs (concrete/asphalt patching, signage installation, ceiling tile replacement)

Requirements

• 2+ years of property, facilities, or building maintenance experience
• Experience working with residential, commercial, or industrial properties
• Contractor, electrical, or plumbing licenses are a plus
• Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Compensation & Perks

• $21–$25 per hour (based on experience)
