Production Worker – Trimming and Setup | 1st Shift | Hand Tool or Machine Operator Experience Preferred

Job duties for Production Worker:
• Trim/Setup position works in a climate controlled room at the beginning of the wax mold process
• Employees will inject wax into an aluminum die, similar to plastic injection molding, to produce the wax mold
• Responsibilities include operating machines, racking parts, and using small hand tools to cut or trim excess wax
• Uses a small hand held torch to melt some of the wax pieces to a ceramic structure
• Work in various production and finishing areas throughout the facility
• Assist with maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Support production goals by producing quality work in a timely manner
• Work with industrial equipment and manufacturing tools in a hands-on environment
Requirements for Production Worker:
• Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine op experience. Looking for longevity of 1yr+ at each prior position
• Inspection or hand tool experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail required or artistic ability
• Ability to identify quality issues and follow production standards
• Comfortable using small hand tools
• Ability to identify quality issues and follow production standards carefully
• Reliable attendance required; attendance impacts quarterly bonus eligibility
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. regularly
• Steel-toed boots required
• Comfortable working in areas that may be dusty or dirty at times
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn required
• High School Diploma/GED
•Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/background screen
Shift for Production Worker:
• Monday-Friday
• 1st Shift: Typically 5:00am-1:30pm
• Occasional overtime until 3:30pm
• Rare Saturday overtime opportunities
Pay for Production Worker:
• $16.00/hr
• Once hired in, eligible for a scrap bonus up to $2/hr depending on scrap rate and attendance
