The Advance Group has a Direct Hire opportunity with a manufacturing company in Toledo, OH looking for a Production Manager. The ideal candidate will possess management experience in the manufacturing field and exceptional leadership skills.
Compensation for the Production Manager candidate:

$78-$110k Salary
Health Benefits and 401k with match available 30 days after hire
PTO

Hours for the Production Manager candidate:

Monday-Friday 7am-3pm, occasional weekends if needed
Must be available to work as early as 6am and stay as last at 8pm as needed

Requirements of the Production Manager candidate:

5yrs of Manufacturing Leadership Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in the Chemical field is preferred
Possess strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong background in EH&S
Experience with continuous improvement
Good time management and problem solving skills
Proficient computer skills
Must be comfortable dealing with raw materials and chemicals

Responsibilities of the Production Manager position:

Oversee the safe and environmentally responsible manufacturing operations
Manage the hourly production team of about 20 employees
Develop and execute strategies to meet customer demands while maintaining sustainable operations and comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Apply continuous improvement methodologies to optimize productivity and operating costs
Maintain a clean and safe work environment with a focus on hazard reduction
Responsible for production scheduling, utilizing ORSOFT and the equipment maintenance planning and execution to meet customer demands
Manage performance of hourly production team, working with HR to develop and support the team to their potential through individual development plants and training
Responsible for root cause investigations and subsequent action items related to EH&S and quality non-conformances
Lead problem solving efforts and resolve roadblocks to meet short and long-term production goals
Coordinate with the Plant Buyer to ensure proper inventory levels of raw materials and PPE for associates
Communicate effectively with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to achieve customer expectations
