The Advance Group has partnered with a production facility in need of Assembly in Perrysburg, OH for 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have good hand dexterity and manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities for Assembly:
- Assemble and glue automotive packaging by installing foam, Velcro, and partitions into boxes
- Will use hand tool such as hand crimpers, hot air guns, and staple guns
- Inspect packaging for defects and missing pieces
- Stack completed boxes onto pallets
- Utilize a computer to document order numbers and pieces completed
- Occasionally operate machinery to cut foam
- Clean and sweep the work area
- Rotate weekly into different positions
Compensation for Assembly:
Hours for Assembly:
- The hours are Monday-Thursday 5:30am-4pm
- Must be open to overtime on Fridays from 7:30am-4pm
Requirements for Assembly candidates:
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
- Must be able to lift or pull 50lbs on ocassion
- Comfortable holding and using a 7lb hot air gun, safely, to adhere plastic and foam to packaging material
- Able to use hand tools to fasten foam and partitions to boxes
- Willing to clean and sweep during down time
- Comfortable standing for the entire shift and working in hot environments
- Good computer skills and ability to follow written work instructions
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks requiring good hand dexterity
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background screen
