The Advance Group is currently seeking a temporary 3rd Shift Receiving Associate for a filter manufacturer in Metamora, OH. The ideal candidate will have Shipping/Receiving experience and good computer skills. 

Compensation for the Receiving Associate:
  • $18/hr
Hours for the Receiving Associate:
  • 3rd shift Sunday-Thursday night 10pm-6:30am
  • Must be able to come in at 8pm for overtime and work 2 Saturdays per month
  • Temporary position expected to last at least 2-3 months
  • Occasional Sundays
Requirements of the Receiving Associate:
  • Solid work history and 1-3yrs tenure at previous employers
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Material Handler or Warehouse experience
  • Willingness to obtain a forklift certification and operate handheld pallet jacks
  • Ability to test/inspect equipment, fixtures, and hand tools
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics
  • Efficiency with essential computer functions and data entry
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • US Citizenship
Responsibilities of the Receiving Associate:
  • Unload trucks
  • Organize and stock materials in the warehouse
  • Supply and deliver materials to assembly personnel promptly
  • Ensure materials used match the router pick list
  • Create and print product labels
  • Consolidate proper materials and packaging labels to create a complete product
  • Assist to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of inventory levels
  • Receive and return materials to proper location using a computer inventory process system
  • Receive and stock product into desired location by using computer software
  • Process and pack shipments to ensure on time delivery
  • Follow inventory assignment directions using numbers and decimals
  • Utilize hand carts, pallet jacks, and possibly forklifts to move materials
  • Other duties as assigned
