The Advance Group is currently seeking a 1st Shift Assembly Associate for a filter manufacturer in Metamora, OH. The ideal candidate will have solid manufacturing experience and high attention to detail.

Compensation for the Assembly candidate:
  • $16.50/hr
Hours for the Assembly candidate:
  • 1st Shift- Monday-Friday 6:30am-3pm
  • Must be able to stay until 5pm for overtime and work 2 Saturdays per month
  • Occasional Sundays
Requirements of the Assembly candidate:
  • Solid work history and tenure at previous employers
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs and stand for the entire shift
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background screen
  • Knowledge of basic mathematical arithmetic and diagram reading
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred
Responsibilities of the Assembly position:
  • Assemble large and small filters and components such as side seams, end caps, O-rings, epoxy, and holding clips
  • Perform quality checks utilizing calipers, gauges, and other measuring devices
  • Complete proper documentation regarding orders
  • Participate in team events
  • Follow instructions based on diagrams, charts, and specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Operate machinery
  • Other duties as needed
