The Advance Group has partnered with a company in Temperance seeking Machine Operators. This company specializes in the steel industry.

Job duties for the Machine Operator include:

  • Operate a Tube Mill machine
  • Input production results into computer
  • Operate a forklift and overhead crane
  • Use measuring devices (calipers)
  • Level cored wire
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements of the Machine Operator:

  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Mechanically inclined (ability to perform minor maintenance)
  • Prior forklift and crane operating experience
  • Able to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis

Hours for Machine Operator:

  • 1st Shift- 7am-3pm, must be available for daily OT and weekends. 

Compensation and Benefits for Machine Operator:

  • Starting pay is $18.00hr
  • This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate
  • Pay increase and benefits upon hire
