The Advance Group has partnered with a Toledo company looking for a highly motivated and experienced press operator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating progressive stamping dies to product a variety of metal parts. You will also be responsible for monitoring the production process and making adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.

Job duties for the Press Operator Position:

Set up and operate progressive stamping dies to produce a variety of metal parts
Monitor the production process and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency
Troubleshoot and repair machinery as needed
Maintain accurate records of production data
Operate a Forklift to move dies
Comply with all safety regulations
Maintain good housekeeping practices
Perform general press maintenance
Must be able to take dies apart in presses and reassemble
Utilize tools such as micrometers, calipers, scales, gauges, etc.
Lift parts weighing up to 50lbs and have physical ability to start heavy gage coil straighteners and feed equipment

Requirements of the Press Operator position:

4+ years of press operating automatic progressive dies
Must have set-up experience of at least 6 months with knowledge of feed settings and pilot release settings
Must be able to read micrometers, calipers, and general inspection equipment
Proficient in the use of all relevant machinery and equipment
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Must be able to perform general press maintenance
Lift up to 50lbs and have the physical ability to start heavy gage coil straighteners and feed equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Forklift experience is preferred

Pay for Press Operator position:

Competitive salary of $18-25/hour
Temp to hire position with opportunity to work Friday's once hired in
