Looking for a 1st shift maintenance position with a stable schedule and weekends off? Join a growing manufacturing team in Toledo, Ohio where you'll play a critical role in keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently.
We have partnered with a chemical manufacturing company in Toledo, OH that is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain manufacturing, packaging, blending, filling, and facility equipment. If you enjoy troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical and electrical issues, and minimizing production downtime, we'd love to hear from you!
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions, repair or replace components, and make necessary adjustments
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, and technical documentation
• Maintain pumps, mixers, tanks, conveyors, filling equipment, packaging machinery, and related production equipment
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and facility maintenance projects
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders as assigned
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE requirements, and all company safety procedures
• Work cross-functionally with production and other departments to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
• $25-$32/hour, based on experience
• 1st shift Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
• Minimum 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems independently
• Experience maintaining pumps, mixers, tanks, conveyors, filling equipment, packaging equipment, or similar industrial machinery
• Ability to read equipment manuals, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred
• Experience in chemical manufacturing or consumer products manufacturing is a plus
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; maintenance software experience (MP2 preferred)
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO); Arc Flash awareness preferred
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
