1st Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician | Manufacturing | $25-$32/hr | Weekends Off

We have partnered with a chemical manufacturing company in Toledo, OH that is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain manufacturing, packaging, blending, filling, and facility equipment. Responsibilities for the Industrial Maintenance Technician Position:

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions, repair or replace components, and make necessary adjustments
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, and technical documentation
• Maintain pumps, mixers, tanks, conveyors, filling equipment, packaging machinery, and related production equipment
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and facility maintenance projects
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders as assigned
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE requirements, and all company safety procedures
• Work cross-functionally with production and other departments to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability

Compensation for the Industrial Maintenance Technician Position:

• $25-$32/hour, based on experience

Hours for the Industrial Maintenance Technician Position:

• 1st shift Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Requirements for Industrial Maintenance Technician Candidates:

• Minimum 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems independently
• Experience maintaining pumps, mixers, tanks, conveyors, filling equipment, packaging equipment, or similar industrial machinery
• Ability to read equipment manuals, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred
• Experience in chemical manufacturing or consumer products manufacturing is a plus
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; maintenance software experience (MP2 preferred)
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO); Arc Flash awareness preferred
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
