Excellent opportunity on 1st shift for experienced Maintenance Workers! 40 hour work week and great benefits once hired!
The Advance Group has partnered with a company in Romulus, MI that specializes in the recovery and reclamation of steel abrasives. This company has been in business since 1982 and they are currently seeking a Maintenance worker with experience in hydraulics, pneumatics and basic electrical repairs.
Job duties of Maintenance Worker:
- Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment including: Electric motors, bearings, gear boxes, belts, pulleys, conveyers, elevators, screening units, crushing equipment, packaging equipment, forklifts, forklift rotators, etc.
- Operate welders, drill press, grinder, hand tools and other metal working equipment.
- Organize and maintain maintenance crib and tools.
- Ability to perform minor fabrication and modification of new and existing equipment.
- Operate bucket lift and forklifts.
- Maintain parts supplies inventory.
Requirements for Maintenance Worker:
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and basic electrical repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
- Computer knowledge/about to work with Maintenance Software.
- Post-secondary education and/or a technical trade certificate is an asset.
Hours for Maintenance Worker:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay rate for Maintenance Worker:
- $25.00hr
