The Advance Group has partnered with a leading manufacturing company in Monroe, MI to hire an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a Direct Hire opportunity. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines, facility systems, and manufacturing equipment to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines and manufacturing equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Maintain facility systems, including HVAC and supporting equipment
- Install, test, and commission new machinery and production equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
- Complete maintenance work orders and repair documentation
- Operate maintenance equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely
- Follow all company safety policies and preventive maintenance procedures
- Support overall facility maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
To be successful in this Maintenance Technician position, you should have:
- Technical degree or 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Experience maintaining CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with facility systems, including HVAC
- Ability to work independently with excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license
Experience using equipment such as:
- Hoists
- Hydraulic jacks
- Mills
- Lathes
- Drill presses
- Welders
- Band saws
- Forklifts
- Aerial lifts
- Grinders
- Overhead cranes
- Hand and power tools
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Climb, kneel, crawl, bend, and reach throughout the workday
- Work safely around manufacturing equipment and machinery
