The Advance Group has partnered with a manufacturing company in Dundee, MI who is looking for experienced Machine Operators! This position offers advancement opportunities and excellent benefits once hired!!
Responsibilities of this Machine Operator position:
- Operate lathe, knee mill, drill press, and other fabrication equipment such as belt sanders, hand tools, and others.
- Reviews and interprets written work instructions and blueprints.
- Use of measuring devices to ensure accuracy of machined components.
- Responsible for quality control of machined parts.
Requirements of the Machine Operator:
- Basic knowledge of various types and metals and their physical properties.
- Able to stand, lift, bend, twist on continuous basis.
- Must be able to read a tape measure, caliper, micrometer and perform basic shop math (converting decimals to fractions).
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Hours for Machine Operator:
- First Shift: 7:30am-4:00pm
- This is a Monday-Friday position, no weekends!
Compensation and Benefits for this Machine Operator position:
- Starting pay $16-22hr based on experience
- Health benefits available upon hire!
