Human Resource Manager: Orchestrating Excellence in HR Management – Transforming Talent, Ensuring Compliance, and Fostering a Positive Workplace Environment.
The Advance Group has partnered with a Plastics Manufacturer in Waterville, OH who is looking to add an HR Manager to their team. The HR Manager oversees the HR department’s daily operations, encompassing staff recruitment, benefits administration, and policy enforcement.
Duties for the Human Resource Manager:
- Collaborates with the leadership team to execute HR and talent strategies, focusing on recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
- Provides guidance on complex HR issues and executes routine tasks in sensitive circumstances.
- Manages talent acquisition, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring for key roles, in consultation with departmental managers.
- Analyzes compensation and benefits trends, proposing competitive pay programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Designs internal development programs and oversees employee disciplinary matters and investigations.
- Ensures compliance with employment laws, staying informed on HR trends, regulations, and new technologies.
- Manages the HR budget, including worker compensation and risk management, and contributes to employee safety programs.
Qualifications for the Human Resource Manager:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ HR management experience with a strong understanding of employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate effectively, and cultivate positive working relationships.
- Strong reasoning and judgment skills, proficient in Windows environment and relevant software (Outlook, Office, etc.).
Shift for the Human Resource Manager:
- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
- Must be flexible on hours, will require coming in early/late on occasion to meet with employees on other shifts
-Must be willing to travel to other plant location (about an hour away)
Pay for the Human Resource Manager:
-$75-80k per year salary
