The Advance Group has partnered with a global solar panel manufacturing company in Walbridge, Ohio who opened its 4th location in the area and has a need for General Laborers. Laborers are responsible for breaking down wooden crates and pallets using hand tools.
Duties for the General Labor positions:
- Breaking down wooden crates using drills, hammers, and other hand tools
- Manually disassembling end caps off of the crates with their hands
- Stacking wood into organized stacks
- Safely moving materials and broken glass if needed
- Notifying supervisor of any defects or safety hazards
Requirements for the General Labor position:
- Must have previous manual labor, construction, or hand tool experience
- Excellent attendance
- Must be able to pass a drug and background check
- Ability to work well in a small team
- Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs on a consistent basis
- Must be able to climb stairs occasionally
- Must be able to use hands to grasp, carry, lift, and feel objects as required
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Ability to stand, bend, and do repetitive lifting
- Safety first mindset
Multiple Shifts Available for the General Labor position:
- Day schedule 6am-6:10pm
- Night Shift: 6pm-6:10am
- Will work every other weekend
