The Advance Group is currently seeking a 2nd shift Assembler for a steel tube and bar facility located in Holland, OH. The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in a production or general labor environment.
Responsibilities of the Assembler:
- Assemble bearing and attachments onto steel pipes
- Read a ruler and perform minor mathematical calculations
- Bend and lift steel tubing repetitively and quickly
- Load and unload steel tubes on production lines
- Perform quality inspections
Compensation for the Assembler:
- $17-18/hr depending on experience
- $2/hr shift premium for 2nd shift
Hours for the Assembler:
- Hours are Monday – Friday 3pm-11:30pm
- Overtime and Saturdays if needed
Requirements of the Assembler:
- Previous Production or General Labor experience
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds consistently
- Must be able to read a ruler and have basic math skills
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable standing all day and working in hot, loud environments
- Experience with micrometers and calipers is preferred
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and extensive background check
