Through-Hole Assembly Technician | Soldering & Electronics Manufacturing | Production & Quality Focus
The Advance Group has partnered with an electronics company in Millbury, Ohio who is looking for an Electronics Assembler to join their team. Candidates with strong attendance, manufacturing experience, and excellent attention to detail are encouraged to apply! Job duties for Electrical Assembly:
• Perform hands-on through-hole assembly, soldering, inspection, and related production tasks under established instructions and supervision
• Assemble and solder through-hole components and subassemblies per drawings and work instructions
• Read and follow manufacturing drawings, bills of material, travelers, and work instructions
• Support prototype, development, rework, repair, and test activities as assigned
• Perform basic inspection and ensure completed work meets quality standards before passing to next operation
• Operate soldering irons, hand tools, and approved production equipment safely and correctly
• Report material shortages, documentation issues, or workmanship concerns promptly
• Complete travelers, time records, and required paperwork accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements for Electrical Assembly:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or experience preferred
• Ability or willingness to learn to read manufacturing drawings and bills of material
• Experience using soldering irons, hand tools, and basic assembly tools preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined procedures
• Prior electronics manufacturing or through-hole assembly experience preferred
• Familiarity with IPC-610 and J-STD-001 workmanship standards preferred
• Basic test equipment familiarity a plus
• Ability to work independently within established processes
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift or team lift up to 25 lbs
•Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen
Shift for Electrical Assembly:
• Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm
Pay for Electrical Assembly:
• $15-16/hr based on experience
