The Advance Group has partnered with a Toledo, OH facility seeking experienced CDL A Drivers for a Direct Hire position.

Responsibilities of the Driver position:

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers, ensuring compliance with safety standards
Drive RAM 5500 trucks with trailers within a 3hr distance of Toledo, with occasional overnight trips
Deliver products to customers or transfer products between service centers according to schedule and customer requirements
Move trailers in and out of the lot and to customer facilities as directed by management
Couple and uncouple trailers efficiently and safely
Ensure all materials are properly secured and strapped for transit before moving the vehicle
Facilitate the loading and unloading processes where applicable
Perform other tasks as assigned
Lift, pull, and drag materials weighing up to 75lbs

Compensation for the Driver Position:

$25-28/hr

Hours for the Driver Position:

Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
Must be willing to work overtime if needed
Some overnight trips on rare occasions

Requirements for Driver candidates:

Valid CDL A License with a clean driving record with no automatic transmission restrictions
Willingness to travel as necessary, including overnight trips
Operate in full compliance with DOT regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
3-5yrs experience driving hotshot, tarpaulin systems, and semi loads preferred
Flatbed experience preferred
No more than two recent moving violations
Ability to climb 3’ step-ladders
Ability to maneuver with no range of motion limitations
Ability to lift, pull, and drag 75lbs
High regard for safety
High School Diploma or GED
