The Advance Group is currently seeking a 2nd shift Assembler for a steel tube and bar facility located in Holland, OH. The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in a production or general labor environment.

Responsibilities of the Assembler:

• Assemble bearing and attachments onto steel pipes
• Read a ruler and perform minor mathematical calculations
• Bend and lift steel tubing repetitively and quickly
• Load and unload steel tubes on production lines
• Perform quality inspections and document order details
• Requires standing for the entire shift, working in loud, non-climate controlled environment
• Frequent lifting of 2-10lbs, occasional lifting of 50lbs
• Clean and sweep work area at the end of the shift

Compensation for the Assembler:

• $18.57/hr
• $2/hr shift premium for 2nd shift

Hours for the Assembler:

• Hours are Monday – Friday 2:30pm-11pm
• Overtime and Saturdays are mandatory when busy
• Currently busy and working until 1am most days

Requirements of the Assembler:

• 1-2yrs of  consistent Production or General Labor experience
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds 
• Must be able to read, write, read a ruler and have basic math skills
• High attention to detail
• Comfortable with basic cleaning duties
• Comfortable standing all day and working in hot, loud environments
• Experience with micrometers and calipers is preferred
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Excellent Attendance
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and extensive background check
