We have partnered with a company in Toledo, Ohio that is hiring a Payroll Administrator. This role is ideal for detail-oriented payroll professionals who value accuracy, consistency, and a service-focused work environment.
• Process weekly payroll for hourly, salaried, and contract employees using Paycor
• Ensure payroll is completed accurately and on time (finalized by Wednesday at 3:00 PM)
• Maintain and update payroll records including new hires, terminations, and pay changes
• Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, deductions, and related inquiries
• Assist with 401(k) administration including enrollments, contributions, and basic compliance support
• Perform basic auditing and reconciliation of payroll prior to submission
• Work closely with the owner to resolve payroll-related issues, especially on paydays
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations
• Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Customer-focused, professional communication style
• Stable work history required
• Experience with 401(k) administration
• Paycor experience (or similar payroll software)
• Part-time, approximately 15 hours per week
• Required days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
• Flexible hours between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM
• Onsite role initially, with potential for limited remote work after training
• No plans for this role to transition to full-time
• $22–$25/hour
