The Advance Group has a great opportunity for Production Scheduler candidates with one of our clients in Romulus! This is a temp to hire position, with a starting pay around $20hr based on experience.

SUMMARY
Coordinates activities of Shipping, Receiving, and Production Departments. Engages in expediting flow of material and parts within or between departments of the plant; and in scheduling production operations by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Schedules production resources efficiently to achieve 100% on-time customer delivery.

Schedules production resources efficiently.

Establishes priorities for specific customer orders.

Revises schedule according to established priorities, and availability of material, machines, and equipment.

Confers with production personnel to resolve problems affecting production schedules.

Confers with customers regarding the status of their orders.

Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.

Resolves errors and customer complaints.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to work in a manufacturing plant environment; and must possess and exhibit a high degree of energy. Efficiency and accuracy of work is essential.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma with 1 or more years of experience in the field, or in a related area.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to read and write short correspondence, emails, and memos. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of Company.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
